From the Desk of the Superintendent - 6/25/20

Thursday, June 25, 2020

As the summer progresses and we look forward to the start of the 2020/2021 school year, I am sure there are many questions and concerns about how the school year will take place.  While I do not have all the answers currently.  I can assure you that we will do everything we can to have all kids in school every day.

The Hardin County Superintendents are working together with other local superintendents to come up with the best plan possible to make sure we educate students to the best of our abilities.  We will be working with Hardin County Health Department to ensure that our plans for school are appropriate and safe.  This will take place once the state sets some guidelines for education in the fall.

Once again, the administration of Upper Scioto Valley Schools will do everything in our power to have all students in school every day.  We will do this by following the requirements/recommendations of the governor, state health department and the local health department.   We will work to ensure the safety and mental well being of our students, staff and community.  If you have any questions please contact me at [email protected].  I may not have all the answers at this time, but will answer any questions that I can.

Educationally,
