Natural Choice Family Farms Makes a Charitable Donation for USV Students
Natural Choice Family Farms covers the cost of wholesome milk products with a charitable donation to Upper Scioto Valley students
Alger, Ohio – Oct. 8, 2026, This year Ohio schools have new flexibility to offer students whole and 2% milk options. Natural Choice Family Farms, a dairy farm owned and operated by the Imboden family, is helping Upper Scioto Valley School District meet that need by providing a charitable contribution for the 2026-27 school year.
The donation was developed around the district’s annual milk costs, with the goal of relieving that expense and giving the district greater flexibility to direct other resources toward students.
The Upper Scioto Valley contribution is part of a larger donation event. The father and son duo behind Natural Choice first learned of school district budget challenges for more wholesome dairy options earlier this year through Madison Plains School District in London, Ohio. The Madison-Plains district estimated adding whole and 2% milk options would add over $8,000 to the cost of its annual milk budget. Natural Choice’s contribution to both Upper Scioto and Madison Plains covers not only the annual milk budget for the 2026-27 school year, but also the increased cost to ensure students receive the nourishing whole or 2% milk options that they want.
“Every student deserves access to healthy and nutritious milk,” Les Imboden of Natural Choice Family Farms said. “Upper Scioto Valley is part of our community, and this was a direct way for us to support the school and give it more flexibility to put resources toward students.”
